MMNA -- EDUCATION FOUNDATION Takes Off In accordance with the MMNA Constitution/ Bylaws, Article VII, MMNA President and BOD Chairperson appointed a special committee and prepared guidelines for the newly founded MMNA Education Foundation (MEF). The National Executive Committee, President and the Chairman and incoming President and the BOD chairman subsequently approved the guidelines.
Dr. Brijmohan Malani has been appointed as the Foundation Chairman for the
term of four years. Foundation Trustees and the Management team are
listed separately.
- The MMNA Education Foundation
(MEF) shall operate within the MMNA Constitution and Bylaws and as
directed jointly by the National President, BOD Chairman, and the
Foundation Chairman.
- Objective: The Foundation shall promote academic and other valuable education.
I. Major funding should be appropriated towards academic education:
A. For students studying in India
B. For students coming from India to USA or Abroad
C. For students of USA
II Minor funding should be allocated to promote educational and social service and education of our heritage and language.
The Foundation shall consist of
a) Foundation Executive Trustees (FET)
b) Core Trustee Group (CTG) and
c) Foundation Management Committee (FMC).
